This tour launches from the shore, and your instructor will choose the ideal spot each day based on wind and sea conditions. You might even discover a “secret locale” unknown to many locals—an exclusive treat only a true insider can provide.
Throughout the session, you’re welcome to request personalized freediving tips. Whether you want to dive more effortlessly or refine your form, our casual coaching fits right into your fun-diving adventure. Improve your skills naturally while enjoying the beauty of Amami’s ocean.
Participation Requirements:

18 years or older (under 17 may join with a guardian)

Able to swim unaided in water deep enough that you can’t touch the bottom

In good health (If you have any medical concerns, please let us know in advance)
Tour Area:
The exact location is decided a few days before the tour, taking into account weather forecasts, sea conditions, your accommodation, and skill level. Meet and finish on site (meeting point to be communicated by the day before). This tour is conducted via beach entry, not by boat.
Price:
¥13,000 (tax included) per dive
Additional dives and private group tours available upon request.

Meeting Point Notification
By the day before your tour, you’ll receive the exact dive spot and meeting location (beach or parking area). If you need assistance with public transit directions or rental car arrangements, just let us know—we’re happy to help!

On-Site Check-In & Gear Setup
Meet at the designated spot for check-in, then rent and fit your wetsuit, mask, fins, and other necessary equipment.

Safety Briefing & Stretch Warm-Up
We’ll cover basic freediving techniques, safety rules, and guide you through a light stretch routine.

Swim to Dive Site
Enter from the shore and head to the best dive location. Your guide will point out interesting marine life and underwater features.

Diving Session
Enjoy your freediving experience. If you’d like, your guide can share photos and videos taken during the dive.

Wrap-Up & Dismissal
We’ll review the day’s highlights, offer tips for next time, and then you’re free to depart from the meeting point.
